World Heavyweight Champion James J. Jeffries
Expansion of this popular exhibit includes photos, history, and even a pair of old boxing gloves. James Jeffries retired from boxing to his farm on Victory and Buena Vista streets, where he held boxing matches for young would-be boxers.

Burbank's Early Movie Industry
A movie industry exhibit shows some of the equipment used on movie sets in the old days such as a 35mm Moviola motion piture projector used in the 1920's and 1930's, Klieg lights, editing machines, and original movie posters. And don't forget to visit the ever-popular Warner Bros. exhibit showing Batman and Poison Ivy! |

Kong's Speed Shop
The Kong's Speed Shop, built in the Mary M. Howard Room, has an interesting collection of photos, automotive artifacts and a display of the Road Kings of Burbank, a group originally formed in 1952. Also on display is an original Kong racing motor. |

Seagraves Fire Pumper 1949

Farm Room

The new vehicle room dedicated to Mary M. Howard is now the
home of the vintage vehicles.
Mike & Mayme Cunningham Room
This is the new program and meeting room, able
to hold many more people than the previous meeting room. Also, new displays
are shown along
the walls – including the Indian Artifacts, paintings of old
Burbank, and a special on-loan exhibit of lead soldiers and figures.
This particular exhibit was held a few years ago and is back by popular
demand.
The Walt Disney Company Exhibit
Recently re-designed by a team of Disney Imagineers
in honor of Disney’s
80th anniversary, the new exhibit showcases the company’s history,
animation techniques, audio-animatronics and movies. One wall features
every movie Disney ever made. Kids will love operating the ‘zoetrope’,
an early method of creating the illusion of moving images.
Warner Brothers Studios
This exhibit features costumes from the movie ‘Batman’,
worn by George Clooney and Uma Thurman, and from the movie ‘They
Died With Their Boots On’, worn by Errol Flynn and Olivia DeHavilland.
Kids can learn how cartoons are made and view Warner Brothers cartoon
classics on a continuously running video of oldies but goodies.
